DK Vertex Invests 70 Crore to Launch Seven Co-Working Centres Across India
The launch is part of a ₹70 crore investment announced by the Vertex Group’s co‑working arm, which will see seven new centres spread across Gurugram, Bengaluru and Mumbai. 10,000 desks are slated for the network, with 6,000 already in use and a 75 % occupancy rate that underscores the sector’s momentum. Gagan Arora, Founder and President of the Vertex Group, confirmed that five of the locations are in Gurugram, one in Mumbai and one in Bengaluru. While the Gurugram sites are leased from property owners, the company owns one of the seven centres.
Beyond simple workstations, DK Vertex is positioning itself as a one‑stop ecosystem for modern professionals. Its portfolio of value‑added services includes IT support, information security, payroll and hiring solutions, data analytics, account management and concierge assistance. The firm also runs integrated podcast and content studios, and offers dedicated spaces for advertising shoots, providing tenants with a blend of productivity and creative infrastructure.
The timing of the rollout dovetails with a broader uptick in demand for flexible office space across India. Cushman & Wakefield’s recent data show that operators of flexible workspaces accounted for 18 % of the 21.89 million square feet of gross leasing volume in the January‑March period across eight major cities. Bengaluru remains the front‑runner for Grade A flexible office supply, holding 31 % of the market, while Mumbai and Gurugram continue to draw corporate tenants seeking hybrid work solutions.
Looking ahead, Arora said DK Vertex intends to open additional centres in both tier‑I and tier‑II cities, aiming to scale its footprint while maintaining a mix of owned and leased locations. The company plans to make an additional 4,000 built‑to‑suit seats available within the next two months, bringing the total to 10,000 desks. As the firm monitors occupancy trends and adjusts pricing within the ₹6,000‑₹18,000 range, it will also explore adding further services to differentiate its offering.
At the time of the announcement on June 9, 2026, four of the seven centres were already operational, with 6,000 seats in use. The next phase of the rollout will bring 4,000 more seats online over the next two months. DK Vertex’s expansion aligns with industry data indicating steady growth in flexible office leasing, positioning the company to capture a larger share of the market in key metropolitan hubs. The impact of the new centres will likely be detailed in the firm’s upcoming earnings cycle.
