Fusion CX Expands into Australia with Acquisition of VA Platinum
The deal marks Fusion CX’s 16th acquisition and gives the company a physical footprint in New South Wales. VA Platinum, founded in 2017 by Brian Jones, has built a client base of more than 350 Australian businesses, primarily in finance, mortgage broking, financial planning, lending, bookkeeping, legal and conveyancing, and real‑estate support. The firm employs over 700 revenue‑generating staff and an operations team of about 100 professionals located in Cebu and Davao, Philippines.
“We are pleased to welcome Brian and the entire VA Platinum team to the Fusion CX family,” said Pankaj Dhanuka, Fusion CX’s founder and chief executive officer. “VA Platinum has built a business with expertise in the Australian market and a differentiated approach to offshore staffing. This acquisition marks an important milestone for Fusion CX as we establish our presence in Australia and add specialised staffing and managed workforce capabilities to our portfolio.”
VA Platinum’s CEO Brian Jones added, “Joining Fusion CX marks an exciting new chapter for VA Platinum. We have built our business around helping Australian companies access dedicated, high‑quality offshore teams. Becoming part of Fusion CX brings together our understanding of the Australian market with the scale and capabilities of a global organisation.”
The transaction combines VA Platinum’s market knowledge and specialist workforce model with Fusion CX’s global delivery network and offshore experience. Fusion CX already operates 15 delivery centres in 15 countries and offers multilingual, omnichannel support across voice, chat, and social media. The addition of VA Platinum expands the company’s service portfolio into finance and accounting BPO, mortgage and real‑estate BPO, and other professional‑support functions that complement its existing customer‑experience and BPO capabilities.
Industry analysts note that the move positions Fusion CX to capture a larger share of the Australian BPO market, which has shown steady growth in demand for dedicated offshore teams. By integrating VA Platinum’s client relationships and local presence, Fusion CX can offer end‑to‑end solutions that include both customer‑experience services and back‑office support.
The acquisition also aligns with Fusion CX’s IPO strategy. The company received SEBI approval for its initial public offering in December 2025, and the new Australian operations are expected to strengthen its financial profile ahead of the market debut. Investors will likely view the expansion as a step toward diversifying revenue streams and reducing geographic concentration.
Fusion CX’s leadership emphasized that the deal does not alter its existing delivery model. The company will continue to manage offshore teams from its established centres in India and the Philippines, while leveraging VA Platinum’s on‑shore presence in Australia to provide a hybrid delivery approach.
The Australian government’s regulatory environment for offshore staffing remains stable, and VA Platinum has complied with all local employment and data‑protection requirements. The acquisition does not trigger any immediate regulatory review beyond standard antitrust checks.
In the coming months, Fusion CX will report on the integration progress and the impact on its financial results. The company’s next earnings release is scheduled for the end of Q4 2026, and analysts will be watching for guidance on revenue growth in the Australian segment.
As Fusion CX moves forward, the key questions for stakeholders will be how quickly the new operations can scale, the extent to which VA Platinum’s client base will contribute to top‑line growth, and whether the expanded service mix will translate into higher margins.
The acquisition underscores a broader trend of global BPO providers expanding into mature markets through targeted acquisitions, allowing them to combine local expertise with global delivery capabilities.
The deal is complete, and Fusion CX has announced that VA Platinum’s staff will continue to operate under the Fusion CX brand while maintaining their existing client contracts. The company will also invest in training and technology integration to ensure a seamless transition for both employees and customers.
Overall, Fusion CX’s purchase of VA Platinum represents a strategic step toward establishing a robust presence in Australia, enhancing its service portfolio, and supporting its upcoming IPO. The company’s next public disclosure will provide further insight into the financial and operational outcomes of this expansion.
