MyRepublic Launches Hyperpeer Game-Acceleration Service for Singapore and Malaysia
Hyperpeer is engineered to route gaming traffic through the shortest, least‑congested paths to game servers. The service runs over a private, non‑shared network, giving priority to gaming packets and keeping latency, packet loss and jitter low. The result is a smoother, more responsive online experience for titles that support the platform.
Customers can opt for Hyperpeer as a stand‑alone subscription or bundle it with MyRepublic’s GAMER+ broadband plans. The GAMER+ package includes a 24‑month Hyperpeer subscription, granting gamers a dedicated, low‑latency connection for the full length of their broadband contract. The desktop application is lightweight, requires minimal system resources, and connects with a single click. Users also gain access to a 24/7 helpdesk.
The first 100 subscribers receive an introductory rate of S$6.90 per month; the standard rate is S$9.90 per month. MyRepublic said it will expand the service by adding more supported games, new features, regular updates and network expansion. Additional countries are slated for 2027, and gamers can request inclusion of specific titles through the Hyperpeer website.
Hyperpeer launches alongside a refreshed GAMER+ portfolio that now features the Dreamcore x MyRepublic RTX5060Ti gaming PC, an ASUS T1 RTX 5070 graphics‑card bundle, and updated gaming routers. Managing Director and Chief AI Officer Lawrence Chan said the company is “redefining the gaming connectivity landscape” and aims to make better gaming experiences accessible to users across Singapore and Malaysia.
New users can start with a complimentary seven‑day free trial before committing to a paid plan. Both the trial and subscription options are available through the Hyperpeer website.
MyRepublic has operated in Singapore since 2011, offering broadband, mobile and business services. The company also licenses its platform to operators in Brunei and Indonesia through a joint venture with Sinar Mas. Hyperpeer reflects a broader industry trend toward dedicated gaming networks that reduce latency and improve the quality of online play.
At the time of the announcement, no independent performance data had been released, and the company did not provide a list of supported games. The service’s effectiveness will likely be evaluated by gamers and industry analysts in the coming months as the platform expands.
The introduction of Hyperpeer and the GAMER+ bundle positions MyRepublic as a key player in the Southeast Asian gaming market, where low latency and high‑quality broadband are increasingly important for competitive and casual players alike.
The company’s next public update is expected in the upcoming quarterly earnings report, which will provide further details on subscriber uptake, revenue impact and future expansion plans.
